But why would I want my family session at home?

Where else do you snuggle your babies to sleep, curl up in bed with them on Saturday mornings, read stories to them? Your home is the place where first steps are taken, bedtime stories are told, and memories are made. There are little pieces of you all over your house and these will become your children’s fondest memories. There really is no better place to capture your family. Your home is uniquely you and helps to tell your family’s own story.

Newborn Sessions in the comfort of your own home

Those first few days when you welcome your newborn can be hectic. You’re tired, your older kids are adjusting to having a new little baby in the house, you’re getting to know your new little person, and you’re recovering from birth. The last thing I, as your photographer, want to do is put more stress on you by having you leave your home and come to me for your newborn photo session. Here in Seattle, if you have your baby any time other than summer, it’s probably going to be chilly out so there’s no better way to do your photo session than snuggling up with your little family and staying at home.

Fresh 48 Sessions

Fresh 48 sessions take place in the hospital in the first couple of days after baby’s arrival. These sessions capture that magical time when it seems the world stops still and everyone is focused on you and your little baby. This time goes by so fast so documenting it is so important so that you never forget what life was like those first few hours.
