W Family {Family Photographer Seattle, WA}

I think I am in love with this family session from this past weekend.  The mom and I had been talking for while about doing a family photography session and it finally came together last weekend.  The Seattle weather was beautiful. The sun was shining, it was warm (for the most part), the light was amazing...I couldn't think of more perfect conditions.  Throw in the cute family and it equals a beautiful session.   I think these are my favorite ages to photograph...two kids who listen and one who is still immobile and doesn't have a choice :)  I always feel bad having to keep kids up so late in the Spring and Summer when sunset is so late in the day.  To get the pretty light that I adore, I like to schedule my sessions in the last hour before sunset.  Our session started right around their bedtime, but these sweet little kids were troopers and they were full of energy, laughter and smiles.  This session moved quickly!  We were done in about 40 minutes which I think might be a new record for me.  I had a session flow worked out beforehand and we followed it pretty closely in order to get the variety I wanted.  Some of my favorites from this session are the parent child images.  I love the connections captured, you can really see how much they all love each other.  I was so thrilled to be able to photograph this beautiful family.  W Family, I hope you love these photos as much as I do. It was a pleasure to be able to capture you all!

These are amazing!! I can really feel the love in this family Beautiful work!
These photos are absolutely fabulous! Amazing lighting in every single one.
Amy what a beautiful session!
Amy, thank you so much! I LOVE all the pictures! The kids did way better than I expected at that time of night but I think that had a lot to do with how quickly you kept us moving! I love the real love you captured in the pictures instead of them just looking like the run of the mill posed pictures. You are the best! Thanks!!!
