A Personal Project (Seattle Family Photographer)

This year, I'm attempting another 365 project.  Or, I should say 366 for this year.  Last year was the first time I did such a large personal project and it was so rewarding.  I grew so much and I saw so much improvement in my photography. Some days felt like a huge step backwards, but I know that as I look back over the year, there was enormous growth. So much, that it inspired me to start the project all over again this year. I truly believe that a 365 project is the best way to grow as a photographer and if you haven't considered doing one before, I really urge you to think about it. Last year, I used both client and personal images.  Some were landscapes, some were macros, some were of my kids, some were of random people on the street. This year, I decided my 365 project will only be of my kids. I thought of my 365 project as being a love letter to my kids.  Something that they can look back on when they're grown and see how I saw them when they were little. So, here we are, a third of the way through 2016 already!  Here are some of my favorites from the first third of the year.
